Today I did my taxes. Four months early, because I know I intentionally set aside too much and will get a nice chunk of a refund. Otherwise, I might honestly forget or push them way down the priority list for the next couple of months. So...at least my Federal taxes are done and out of the way.
Yayy!
BUT - Louisiana is one of those states that ALSO has Income Tax which Texas does not. So, let alone having to officially do my own federal taxes for the very first time (since being in Japan and filling taxes out of the country doesn't really count), I have to learn the whole state Income Tax route too. Ugh!
