JAPAN FEST @ NOMA

Jackie and I ventured over to Japan Fest this last Saturday morning

It was held at the New Orleans Museum of Art

Lots of Taiko drumming and . . .

. . . festival food! Yayy!

I was shocked they had TAKO YAKI!

たこ焼き = fried octopus, which is a popular Japanese dumpling

Jackie wasn't too keen on this favorite of mine

Of course we got some YAKI TORI as well!

Strawberry Calpis drink, yummy!

It was a great day to be out in the city!

You can take the girl out of Japan, but you can't take Japan out of the girl . . . thus you can re-visit of my Japan Fest adventure from 2008
