Now that there is a chill in the air, I'm shelving my cold breakfast cereals and overnight oats for warmer dishes and I find myself craving a childhood comfort food - Cream of Wheat
My memories of Cream of Wheat are of my father cooking them on the stove during those cold Fall/Winter mornings before warming up the truck to drop my brother and I off at school. Of course there would be tons of lumps throughout since it wasn't stirred constantly as the cooking directions state, but I find I like it that way best now! :) Thanks Dad!
