Wow, that's a long time to go without a blog post. I'm embarrassed. For those wondering what happened to me, all I have is the usual story: there was a lot of work craziness going on this last week or so. We had our biggest auction of the year this last weekend and I've been putting in some long hours lately.
To catch everyone up with the football fever, the Saints are still UNDEFEATED! 10-0 and the radio stations here now only play either Christmas tunes (I know, it's not right this soon) or various versions of "When the Saints Go Marching In". Who Dat?
In all the craziness, I squeezed in a viewing of the new Twilight Saga movie NEW MOON. I really didn't go as a die-hard fan, I went as someone needing a few good laughs with a friend and BOY...we were not let down. I really get a kick out of the cheesy-ness that is this series. I cannot get enough of the horrible acting, dorky editing, and just overall bad script writing. HA!
To all: Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, may your pumpkin pie's be sweet, your parades be eventful, your football teams lucky, your shopping not too crowded, and your travels be safe! I'll be attempting to make a traditional New Orleans Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce this year, so...here's hoping it looks just as yummy as the picture above!
