Snow in New Orleans

That's Right!

In a rare moment for the New Orleans region, snow is falling this morning, with flurries being reported on the North Shore as far south as Mandeville, as well as in New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, LaPlace and other parts of the south shore. By 8 a.m., enough snow had accumulated on the ground in some areas to lure children and adults onto their front lawns to build snowmen or have snow-fights.

I walked out of my apartment this morning a little after 8 am and found the white flurries EVERYWHERE!
