Halloween to many is a 'fire' celebration since many superstitions revolve around the flames. A Halloween bonfire has long been a tradition to encourage dreams of who your future husband or wife is going to be. The idea was to drop a cutting of your hair into the burning embers and then dream of you future loved one. But seriously, how could a Walnut be consider at any way...spooky this Halloween season? Some Turkish traditions state that people living under walnut trees are taken away by the devil. So have fun around those bonfires this month and bring along some nuts for a good ol' time.
