Krewe of Jingle Parade

Back for its fourth year, New Orleans’ official holiday parade, the “Krewe of Jingle,” once again delighted locals and visitors alike with authentic parade floats, marching bands, stilt walkers, Christmas characters and many more magical surprises!
We got into the festive spirit . . . reindeer antlers and all!!!

New Orleans Culture: Mr. Bingle started as a puppet on WDSU in 1949 before going on to be a mascot at Maison Blanche and Dillard's Department Stores.

After the parade, all were invited to join in the merriment at The Roosevelt New Orleans hotel’s Baronne Street entrance for the “Jingle Mingle”—a block party that transformed the block into a wonderful wintery wonderland with music, games, food, crafts and more!

Snow (really air blown foam) was out and about this weekend & Michele loved it! ;)
Yum...salted caramel!
After the parade, we had dinner at the new hot-dog place called Dat Dog.

Good Day!
