6:30pm: Load-up the night before our ride.

Float #17's theme: It's All About Me

8am: The morning of with my parents.

I feel like a cartoon character bursting with color, thanks to the pink wig and vibrant costume.

9am: Starting the day off with pre-brunch Mimosas at a fellow Nyx sister's home in the French Quarter.

We had not one but two birthday Nyx sisters riding on our float...meet Nannette.
